Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Extra chopped pecans or powdered sugar (optional, for rolling)

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, dried cranberries, chopped pecans, grated Parmesan, sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Stir well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Using your hands or a spatula, shape the mixture into a round ball.
  4. Place the cheese ball in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  5. For a festive touch, roll the cheese ball in extra chopped pecans or a light coating of powdered sugar.
  6. Serve with an assortment of crackers or sliced bread and enjoy!

Options: Mix up the flavors, if you want – try adding jalapeƱo or substituting another fruit for the cranberries.
